President/Owner: Jacobson Custom Homes, llc. 2008 to current in Tubac, AZ.  Lorin Jacobson founded Jacobson Custom Homes in Tubac, during January of 2008.  Since the founding, Lorin has been the General Contractor for the renovations and remodels of commercial properties in Tubac and Green Valley, AZ. as well as private homes and remodels.  Jacobson Custom Homes worked on projects in 2008 that ranged in price from 10,000 to 1 million dollars.  Active projects for 2009 include, land development for local spa, custom home on golf resort, and home remodels in Tubac, AZ.

Vice President-Construction: Dorn Homes, Inc. and Tubac Homes, LLC. 1999 to 2008, Green Valley, AZ.  Lorin Jacobson led the construction team with Dorn Homes and Tubac Homes as Vice President of Construction. During 2007, Lorin's  team closed over 150 homes, with an additional 100 homes under roof.  Subdivisions within her area of responsibility included The Barrio de Tubac, Santiago, Santiago Phase II, Embarcadero, The Bosque, San Miguel Patio Homes, Trails Head, Sanctuary, Tubac Golf Resort Gallery Collection, Estates at Alamos, Madera Reserve, Pasadera, Madera Shadows, and Madera Foothills in Green Valley, and our Oro Valley subdivision, Desert Sky. These homes and our condominium project ranged from 1,200 square feet to 8,000 square feet with a price range from 250K to over a million dollars.

In addition to the residential segment, Lorin completed her first commercial project, the Plaza de Anza in Tubac, in 2004.Lorin was heavily involved and responsible for land development and infrastructure in the Tubac, Green Valley, and Or Valley areas.  We have been interviewed in the Wall Street Journal and other local publications including Custom Builder Magazine. We believe in a no-nonsense approach to systems, scheduling, technology, and have an absolute demand for impeccable quality.  We have built over 650 homes with Dorn Homes and Tubac Homes.
 

President: Jacobson Homes, 1989 to 1999, Chester Springs, PA. In 1989, Lorin was recruited to begin a new career with Jacobson Homes, our family business, where she started working as an administrator, and ending her tenure there as President of the company. Jacobson Homes, an award winning company, built multi-million dollar custom homes in Pennsylvania, featuring upscale options and state of the art amenities on large acre, gated lots.

-Degree in Archeology, Graduated in 1986

Additionally, Lorin is a graduate of Rapport Leadership Seminars and has attended Penn State University for continuing education in Project Management and Project Scheduling.

Lorin has been involved in the AJI Network business professional’s course. Currently, Lorin is working towards her LEED Certification for new construction, as she has just finished the technical review workshop. Lorin is currently working with the U.S. Building Council while studying for her certification.
